When you are on SNAP benefits like me & 42 million Americans, we are grateful just to have food on the table, and cannot even think about Thanksgiving. Not only is Donald Trump gaslighting America, he is truly a monster.

<p>Mud clings to shoes and small ponds shimmer between sagging tents, where children slip and parents struggle to stay dry.</p>
<p>“It’s as if people are sleeping on a flowing river of rainwater,” said the <a href="https://www.middleeasteye.net/countries/palestine" target="_blank">Palestinian</a> father, speaking from the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.</p>
<p>After two years of relentless <a href="https://www.middleeasteye.net/countries/israel" target="_blank">Israeli</a> bombardment of civilians, almost the entire 2.2 million-strong population now dreads another danger from the sky: rainfall.</p>
<p>Al-Mutawwaq is one of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians forced to make a home from tents, with more than 80 percent of Gaza’s structures destroyed since October 2023.</p>
