Somehow I find myself busier with chores and errands than I did while I was employed. Part of it is a deliberate avoidance of Couch Rot™️, but some of it is just... stuff I've been putting off bc I was too drained from working retail to tackle before, and it just kind of piled up.

Christ I can’t wait until they and everyone like them is out of office or dead and I don’t really care which one comes first
the problem seems to be that there are a bunch of senate ds who figured they couldn't win, and/or didn't care if they won, and/or felt the pain was too great, the blow to collegiality too brow furrowing, or whatever.

A good reminder of where I stand on this: I DGAF how technically good you are at traditional painting. If you use genai in ANY part of your process, you have abandoned the soul of art, abandoned the artist community and forfeit any reason I should give you an ounce of respect.

I gotta give it up to the writers tho. If NYC elects a Muslim mayor on the day Dick Cheney died, that is one hell of a slow played story arc. Every time you want to fire 2025's writers room they give you a little narrative resolution as a treat.
