anyhow. go my freak ass deer images (ive been accidentally getting decent at drawing deer. which is a funny side effect of au shenanigans)
the other deer whos freaky in a different way is @rysttle.bsky.social's character!

a reference showing the differences between a standard white tailed deer and one that is a fae creature. The fae creature is much darker in color with bright orange/gold eyes and is thinner than a deer should be. There is a secondary form where the fae deer takes on canid traits like a tucked waist and different hocks. The canid deer also has a longer tail and paw-like hooves. The shape resembles a greyhound.
There is text describing how the canid deer form is only for private areas, this seems to be a secret the character keeps from others.

A brown deer with a blueish iridescent sheen interlocks antlers with a darker brown deer with orange eyes. The antlers twist around one another like vines, the lighter brown deer has much more flexible curls. They are set against a mixture of orange and purple clouds and night sky, with what could be either the sun or the moon in center framing the antlers.
