A young man lay curled on his side hugging the face of a large golden takin (also known as a gnu goat), a large bovine looking goat animal which curls around him. Cuddled up with them are two Russian orloff hens. They lay in a stable on hay. They're all asleep. In the doorway of the stable the back of his mother is seen peering in. She is in a decorative red coat and is accompanied by two baby takins who also look inside. The piece is (digitally) painted in warm tones.

anyhow. go my freak ass deer images (ive been accidentally getting decent at drawing deer. which is a funny side effect of au shenanigans)
the other deer whos freaky in a different way is @rysttle.bsky.social's character!
a reference showing the differences between a standard white tailed deer and one that is a fae creature. The fae creature is much darker in color with bright orange/gold eyes and is thinner than a deer should be. There is a secondary form where the fae deer takes on canid traits like a tucked waist and different hocks. The canid deer also has a longer tail and paw-like hooves. The shape resembles a greyhound. There is text describing how the canid deer form is only for private areas, this seems to be a secret the character keeps from others. two deer, one with large bright colored eyes and a doggish lower half sits curled while another deer with doll-like eyes licks him on the head and sits in a more cervine fashion. A brown deer with a blueish iridescent sheen interlocks antlers with a darker brown deer with orange eyes. The antlers twist around one another like vines, the lighter brown deer has much more flexible curls. They are set against a mixture of orange and purple clouds and night sky, with what could be either the sun or the moon in center framing the antlers. a muddy green painting of a thinner than usual deer looking at the viewer in a dark dimly lit forest. The deer emits light from its eyes and antlers, illuminating the trees around it.
