One of my favorite authors just did an interview about his upcoming final book of a 7 or 8 book series. They asked “what song would you say represents the final book” and he said Nine Inch Nails singing Hurt.

After working with codex 5 and claude code (sonnet 4.5 thinking) for the last month it's not even close. I don't get the hype over codex 5. Claude clears in every task I've tried (albeit swiftui is all I've been doing recently).

How are there no free cell apps without a ton of ads? My in-laws play it all the time and get spammed with ads that are hard to dismiss. I kinda hate this UX pattern.

Some people don’t get why I live in Oregon. I can explain it really easily. I’m 1 min from my house and this is what I can see. The other direction is a forest. You can’t tell me this isn’t worth it.
