I asked Brind'Amour today if Bussi's play has warranted an extended run: "Yeah, sure. We kind of thrust him into weird situations. He doesn't know when he's starting based on the health of the other guys, but he's done a good job. He's earned every start and deserves the next one whenever that is."

Brind'Amour on Jarvis' goal scoring uptick: "I think it's him understanding to not always look off. I mean, he's the scorer on that line, for me. He's got a great shot as we know. Sometimes you have to be a little more selfish with the puck around the net and I think that's his outlook right now."
