Not during the current regime. The rebuilding period in the aftermath is the perfect time to try something new.
All rights are human rights. Period, full stop.

Anyone who believes differently is cruel and inhumane towards their chosen "out" group.

I don't resent poor people who use food stamps to buy another soft drink.

I resent rich people who take away the funds for food stamps to buy another yacht.
I don't care if it exists, I just don't want it to be such a ubiquitous donor among our elected officials. Sure, talk about the country you support. But STOP INTERFERING IN OUR POLITICAL SYSTEM.
We are at a point where most elder politicians are useful for moral support and campaign surrogacy but not much else. Obama has been out of politics for nearly ten years now. Campaign advisors too. If I see James Carville doing any more interviews about current issues I may just scream.

I always think if his family cared about him they'd have put him in a nursing home when he started talking about running for president. They should have known the scrutiny of his/their past that would happen and the crimes that scrutiny would uncover. They just never thought they'd get caught.
After what happened with Kimmel, I don't know if they'd do that again. Nobody ever said these feckless sycophants were smart, though. Too many of them are so far up Dear Leader's posterior they don't know where they start and he ends any more.
MAGA: "He's a demented evil asshole, but he's OUR demented evil asshole."
DJT doesn't have a mind any more. It has turned to mush and dribbled out his ear. He is the Trojan Horse for the Fascists who are currently puppeteering him. If his family actually cared they'd have put him in a nursing home a long time ago. He's dangerous but he's also just sad.
I shop at Aldi via Instacart. Apparently they recently discontinued their dishwasher detergent gel, which is really annoying and doesn't make sense to me. The response when I contacted them was just "this product is no longer available".
That was my first thought too!
I've worked as a cashier too, the checkout stands are programmed not to allow certain things on food stamps. And like I said, nobody buys expensive things on it on a regular basis. For a $50 bag of crab legs they've been saving up for a special occasion for a very long time.
"Google AI"? AI isn't reliable. LEGALLY SPEAKING food stamps don't cover a lot of things that some people claim they do. I've tried to buy hot chicken from the deli and had to pay cash for it. I never bought fresh seafood, except maybe once in a while frozen cooked shrimp if it was on sale.
Exactly. I voted for Bernie in the primaries in 2016 but voted for Hillary in the general because I KNEW TRUMP WAS A FASCIST AND WOULD RUIN THE COUNTRY. We have a participatory Democracy, staying home is NOT an option and too many people don't understand that.
Hannity is one of those that needs to be held accountable in our Nuremberg Trials. If I remember right there were reports that he was texting Dear Leader begging him to stop the J6ers. If he really thought Dear Leader could stop it that easily he probably knew something deeper about the plot.
He's not long for this Earth and the cult will collapse once he's gone.
I don't buy ramen, but if I did I'd throw out the little spice packet and add my own spices. Most of what's in the packet is salt and MSG. Where I shop those little bottles of spices are usually under $2 each and they last a very long time.
Exactly why we need a UBI for our social safety net. The fiscal conservatives and "don't tread on me" folks that used to be in the GOP should love the idea. Unfortunately they've been replaced with Fascists and power hungry sycophants.
One of my daughter's school friends had a lot of medical issues and needed a special diet. For part of it her parents had to buy raw milk at a local farm, I think it was something like $5-7/gallon. And this was around 15 years ago.
It depends what kind of apple it is. Where I buy them some are a bit under $4 for a 3 lb bag and others are around $1.50 per apple. 3lb bag is usually 6-10 apples depending on the size.
You can't buy restaurant food on food stamps. EBT just means Electronic Benefit Transfer, they're probably using it for a cash benefit.
It's bland. Cook it with other ingredients and it's fine, butter and whatever spices you like at minimum. I do a recipe with it that also uses ground turkey, onions, peppers, coconut milk, canned pineapple, ginger and garlic. It's great that way.
I bought almond flour for a recipe once, I think it was $7 for an 8 oz package. Wouldn't have considered it when I was on food stamps. Now I'm thinking I might look into buying bulk almonds online and grinding them myself. Could be cheaper that way.
Organic milk that I've seen from the store is ultra pasteurized. I've tried it a couple times and it always tastes like it's gone bad "fresh" out of the package. It makes no sense to me that they take so much extra effort to make something healthier and then ruin it in the packaging process.
Cauliflower is boring by itself. It's like what my mom says about lobster, it's a transportation method for other things. I have a recipe I do with cauliflower, but it also has ground turkey, peppers, onions, garlic, ginger, coconut milk and canned pineapple in it.
