So #motosky, what did I end up doing?

2025 F800GS (six months old) with 7.6k on the odo, fully loaded, that's currently en route to Ireland with an ETA of November 6, just in time for a birthday ride, for half the price of what I'd have paid for the new one locally.
#motorrad #motorcycle #motorbike
hmm maybe? i notice its a lot less if i have smth to brace myself on or if i rest my phone on something vs. holding it. my tremor can get to like 2cm movement at times. but im sure the mini is limited. also riding motorcycles seems to fuck the cameras, though i leave my phone in my pocket or bag so
ahhh. you sound pretty knowledgeable, is there an available film that you recommend? i guess for long exposure but also for general use. idek what film i bought or if its any good, i think i just bought whatever i could even find for cheap but i almost wouldnt be surprised if theres more options now
ohh thats interesting to know. i figured it was doing a composite thing since even if some stars look streaky, the photos i get aren't completely terrible. could be way better but i just think its awesome to get something halfway decent on my phone. it sometimes catches stars i cant see with my eyes
yeah, i have an iphone 13 mini. i wouldnt call it long exposure but the androids i had before didnt even have options for the night mode. my only real cameras are a barely functional polaroid and an ae-1, both are in storage and if the canon can do proper long exposure idk how lol
oh hell yeah thats my fave part of these vids

i mean like i said its mainly a skill issue + not going out enough to know where the crevices are bad in our driveway. they come and go w the rain and then get worn down or filled. ive seen hard enduro vids and mistaken the course for my own driveway b4
and of course we can get like. in n out. and u gotta have a california burrito. theres also a place a couple of towns over that does carnitas and carne asada fries but they use waffle fries and their salsas are so fucking good
idk what trains go to that station but it rocks, the road from there to our area is super fun and also super pretty, goes across a mountain thru a national forest. we have a bbq place in town too that was on diners drive ins and dives, it's Pretty Okay. i think its still there
thanks! i just took this with the max exposure time on my phone(10 secs) and while holding it by hand. i have a hand tremor so it's not super good, but i'm so impressed that the tech has advanced to the point i can get this on my phone that i cant help but take a shaky pic when the sky is so clear
its kinda fun because other people like. visibly do double takes when they see a tiny road bike on the dirt. and its fun sliding around during daylight. this issue is our driveway is ever changing and at night i have poor visibility up it coming home and i dont go out enough to have a good feel 4 it
oh that would rock. i think theres a train station by this rly fucking good bbq place. i guess maybe you're close enough to bbq territory that good bbq might not be too special? but its very good and they got good banana pudding
it didnt take too long to get it out but w the incline and the momentum loss i was like uhhhh thankfully spousie ran down in the truck and managed to unwedge it for me and get it past the crevice lol. i could have figured it out but nice to have someone smarter and more experienced with that shit
i was trying to cross but its like. a 20% grade or some shit so i couldnt see well and crossed at a shit point. hit soft dirt and rear tire fell in the crevice. i felt it start happening and just stood up and tried to throttle out but bike was too wide for crevice and got wedged
its real and its delicious if u every come this way u will have to try it. i dont drink it too often but when i spend too long out of state or too far north in the state i get The Itch
hmm...... maybe.... idk if that would be enough for our driveway situation or not tbh. i mean the driveway is mostly skill issue in the first place but if u scroll back a couple of weeks ull see how i got it stuck lmfaoooooo
also theres one spot on the roads home that if ur strategic u can catch air while passing tourists and every time i pass it i think about the time i did it on the xr150 while there was some dude on a tenere and when i stopped for the mail he caught up and was hyped af
i have considered dirt tires on cbr but the point of having it is its fun once i get on pavement. not that tiny dualsport isnt but its nice to have one vehicle that can go on the freeway and isnt miserable on DA TOOGIE
