Zelensky is in an impossible position. The manpower shortage in Ukraine is unworkable and they have had 100,000 desertions. He is like the guy in the movie who had his arm stuck in a rock and had to cut it off or die. And he knows that accepting these terms will lead to a more horrible war later.
