Would be so much fun to make stuff like this.
It's got a different vibe to a lot of existing suits.
Auction has now ended, thank you.
White latex is such a nightmare. It stains in contact with so many things. But you never know.
If people are prepared to cover the amount of work these things take to make, all kinds of designs are possible.
I should probably mention that this long, laborious process was done by @sagelonestar.bsky.social - who did a fantastic job :)
I use Bostik 3851
It's closest to what you get for bike tires.
I buy it in 5L cans at £72 a shot.

Liquid latex will not glue well at all to sheet latex. Sheet latex has been through a lot of processes to make it impermeable.
Every spot has laser cut and then glued by hand.
The glue is applied to both surfaces, left to dry then pressed together.
The glued area must overlap the spot so it won't peel off once inflated.
But glue is ugly, so the dried excess around every single spot is individually cleaned.
So. Much. work.
Up for auction this weekend.
So. Many. spots.

These were a considerable amount of work, and have a starting price to reflect that.

Auction ends at 8:15pm UTC. (Randomly in the last 15 minutes to prevent sniping)
Houba!
That's a lotta spots...
Auction has ended, thank you for the bids!
Up for auction this weekend is a set of giant inflatable black and white boppers. Both feet and arms.

Auction ends on Sunday 31st at 7pm UTC. (Randomly in the last 15 minutes to prevent sniping)
Oh, and rest of the world, you can buy paws too if you want. Your cool :)
Post to the USA is back!
Shall we test it out?

This weekend only I WILL EAT THE EXTRA TAXES on USA sales, whatever they turn out to be.

So buy some bopper paws and let's see how bad this is.

There.. nice calm post.
No suggestion of anyone being at fault, or use of colorful language.

This is just the way major countries do business these days... apparently.
Please note that parcel post to the USA is expected to be disrupted in the coming week. With most UK package services suspending deliveries for an indefinite period owing to confusion over new US tariff procedures.

Hopefully it will all get sorted quickly. But keep this in mind.
Previous post deleted as it appeared to be blowing up far outside of it's intended audience.

I am but a simple thingy seller, I just want to sell thingies.
That's the customs process, yes. This is not that.

Parcels are being paused "Over confusion around new import taxes that must be paid on parcels from the end of the month."

Till its sorted, they are not taking packages.
The first ones did, yes. Although I did offer custom work In exchange, since the bid went so high.
They went for £360
Raaaaareasonable :)
One hour left on the Auction.
Thanks to everyone who responded so well to these!
Size 9 UK, 43 EU, 10 US
However, the inner shoes are soft and fleece lined, so can flex a little.

When I am making more of these I will offer shoe size to order.
Up for auction this weekend are a pair of thick Rubber Rex boots.
These are based on a fantastic digital sculpt created for me by Forgemane many years ago.

Auction ends on Sunday - randomly in the last 15 minutes to prevent sniping.
I'm using 'White spirit', AKA 'low dry point mineral spirits'
Which is your basic paint brush cleaner type stuff.
Bostik cleaner is just evil.
My paranoia faded when I discovered how hard it is to unglue a seam when you actually want to ;)

I'm also using some fairly gentle solvent. I can't understand people who insist on using rocket fuel to clean rubber - Not only will that stuff give you a wicked headache, it's way too aggressive.
And, inch by inch, we become a little more shiny.
