I hold much more sorrow for all the people living in Iran than I hold for myself and the US right now tbh. And I hold so, so much rage for all the fuckin greedy, selfish, imbecilic leaders who dragged us all here to this point. I wouldn’t kill them myself but if they spontaneously exploded…yes pls 🫶

I actually forgot until today that we technically haven’t been at war the past four years 💀 so used to this stupid country being at war that I forget when we aren’t lmfao—though the amount of proxy war shit we’ve gotten involved in hasn’t helped me remember either 💀

Logically I’m concerned about how this particular situation could explode (…pun unintended) so badly and involve so many countries, but just the bare info of “the US is at war”?? I’m kinda just like “oh, damn, again, okay” and can’t muster more than a “well this sucks” 🙃

Y’know what’s particularly unnerving to me about this mess with the US bombing Iran? It’s how little I’m unnerved by the fact that we’re in another (direct) war. Like…it really feels way too normal to me that this damn country is at war (again).

But for most of my life the US has been at war, so… 🤷
