An optimist at heart though some days are easier than others. Truly believe that silence is complicity.
Sadly we live in a time when dramatic videos attract more outrage than slow insidious starvation.
It's great that the media, Congress is going all Watergate on one of Trump's many crimes, the 'double-tap' murder of 2 Caribbean sailors

But the reality is that Trump's death cult has killed hundreds of thousands, mostly through senseless USAID cuts

The biggest divide is not between “right” and “left." It’s between democracy and oligarchy. The billionaires who control our economy and democracy seek to divide us. They want us to turn on each other so we don't look up and see that they have all the wealth and power.

Sorry to repeat it but:
Having seen a lot of person-to-person showdowns w elected leaders, don't think I've ever seen as complete an "own" as Mamdani does w Trump here.

JDV should be furious
Cuckolded Republicans should be furious
Trump's actual kids should be furious
Trump will be furious—tomorrow

This is not a deal — it's an empty promise.

Trump and his Republican Congress are making healthcare more expensive for the middle class and ending it for working families.

Time for Democrats to stand tall for affordable healthcare. www.politico.com/news/2025/11...

Socialism is what they called public power.

Socialism is what they called social security.

Socialism is what they called the growth of free and independent labor organizations.

Socialism is their name for almost anything that helps all the people.

Emil Seidel (1910-1912), Daniel Hoan (1916-1940), & Frank Zeidler (1948-1960) have likely impacted your life in ways you never think about, even if you’ve never stepped foot in Milwaukee.

And if city governments are laboratories of democracy, then the Cream City has been research central!
friendly reminder that socialist mayors governed Milwaukee for nearly half a century from 1910-1960

during this time Milwaukee achieved milestones such as being the healthiest, safest, and best-governed city in America

It's no longer left versus right or even Democrat versus Republican.

It’s now democracy versus oligarchy. Freedom versus dictatorship. Right versus wrong.

Trump says his $40B bailout for Argentina's failing libertarian economy is "not gonna make a big difference for our country."

Really?

Imagine if we invested those billions on healthcare and housing for Americans, instead of bailing out Trump's pals abroad.

One of the formative experiences of my very young baseball life was seeing the Yankees win the first two games of the 1981 WS against the Dodgers and thinking, "This is in the bag!" And it wasn't! So, as it was said in ancient times let it be said today: it ain't over 'til it's over.

Mike Johnson is running out of excuses for keeping the government shut down. Instead of doing his job, preserving affordable healthcare, or lowering costs for working families, he’s attacking millions of Americans who will peacefully protest to say that our country belongs to its people — not kings.
Mike Johnson: "We're so angry about it. I mean, I'm a very patient guy, but I've had it with these people. The theory we have right now -- they have a hate America rally that's scheduled for October 18 on the National Mall. It's the pro-Hamas wing and antifa people ... "

In a sane country with competent leadership, the 50 highest-ranking Democrats would call a press conference to denounce what just happened as a threat to the republic and demand Trump's immediate impeachment and removal from office.

I don't know he could make his intentions more clear.
