A boar working its way out of a wood slice- wip #pyrography :]
It wasn't quite as jolly once it properly cooked down, but the beet made it a wonderful yellow all around :D
Haven't had much to share lately, but this veggie soup with potatoes I grew, plus a yellow beet from a friend, has a pretty delightful palette!
Aww, thank you so much. It's been rough, but I think I'm starting to feel a way out.

Can't for the life of me remember if I ever showed you, but your bat patch lives on my lil mountainsmith bag and it's perfect. Bonus cat!
Currently processing a whole bunch of little pyrography scans, some of which are from...three years ago. Truly wouldn't wish creative/artistic burnout on an enemy, it's wild to try to untie this mentally.
Little frog on a wood slice. Dogwood, I think- about 1.75"

Thankfully I'm only allergic to the sun itself!
Goldenrod all over! Glad to catch this spot at such a good time
That's a nice marsh right there

Attack!! For yaboimeggs on artfight :D #art #sketch #newt
I've been eyeing that exact nasuto and pachy for months. Gosh the sculpting looks so nice!
Aww man I miss it there- glad you got to do one!!
-running through theme park queues with @carbontrap.bsky.social, ducking under poles that are way too low to the ground-
"We've still got it!"
Guh, how is ArtFight in 15 days? It aligns with my seasonal job winding down, and I won't be at Anthrocon again this year, so perhaps I can use it to rise like a phoenix from my own ashes or somethin'
NO KINGS. Everyone able to go out today,
: stay safe, you are so powerful
I've used the site for 9 years and donated monthly for 3. I've watched generative AI lay ruin to all of my other peers and communities; to say that this announcement is heartwrenching is an understatement.

I'm glad to see so many raising their voices.
Was lucky enough to experience some happy woodland pools the other day. Happiest marsh marigolds I've ever seen!

I do seasonal work merchandising plants (yay!) for a big box store (boo!) and the weather being nice all last week brought all of the customers out of their shells and it's been very cute; a market farmer told me that he usually sells 400lbs of rutabaga in one go to local pasty shops!
Every single thing about this is incredible
Aww, I'd been wondering about him. Glad he seems to be enjoying a good brushing C:
Poifect! It dodged all of the trials and tribulations of a homegrown strawb and I'm so glad you got to enjoy it in the end!!
Some meditative little pyrography wood slices- a good distraction for me (and hopefully you as well) in these wacky times.
That's just wonderful- I hope the show goes well for you! 😄
