Haven't had much to share lately, but this veggie soup with potatoes I grew, plus a yellow beet from a friend, has a pretty delightful palette!

Currently processing a whole bunch of little pyrography scans, some of which are from...three years ago. Truly wouldn't wish creative/artistic burnout on an enemy, it's wild to try to untie this mentally.

Guh, how is ArtFight in 15 days? It aligns with my seasonal job winding down, and I won't be at Anthrocon again this year, so perhaps I can use it to rise like a phoenix from my own ashes or somethin'

I do seasonal work merchandising plants (yay!) for a big box store (boo!) and the weather being nice all last week brought all of the customers out of their shells and it's been very cute; a market farmer told me that he usually sells 400lbs of rutabaga in one go to local pasty shops!

Transcribing my 2024 garden notebook and:
1) I cannot spell "occurred"
2) This past year kicked me in the ass so hard, it feels like I'm only really coming out of the funk now. It's sobering and odd to read words that I'd written while in the middle of the mental thicket. Blech.

As far as plants go, this year I bought a bunch of different field peas (peas meant to mature and harvest dry) and scallop/pattypan squashes- mostly because, to be honest, they're so delightful to harvest when 'n if they make it through the season. Good colors and good shapes. c:

Happy launch day to a most lovely game I've been playing since 2017! Reminiscing over all of the little adventures I've had within and itching to do some more recent art. Here's an urshiib (a quilly tinker-bear) from 2019 or so in the meanwhile.

Found a great little Kellogg's advert booklet c. 1909 at an antique mall the other day. Haven't been able to figure the name of the illustrator, but these are so, so delightful. I've never run into such an old example of these 'flipbook' style illustrations!
