Asked my toddler if she wanted to eat something. This was a mistake as she's now extremely upset that I keep offering her pedestrian foods like cheese or yoghurt instead of the mysterious promised mana known as "something".

October is blindness awareness month and you might have noticed that recently I've been talking more about vision in general lately. I'm going to answer some common questions and give you some facts. First, blindness is a spectrum. Only 10% of us see nothing, most have residual/some usable vision

I have been told it's ADHD awareness month. I was not aware of this. I faintly remember perhaps being aware of it last year, but I must've forgotten it in the interim. This is likely due to the ADHD.

Perhaps we should have an awareness month for ADHD awareness month.

For once I have context! Eleiko (weights manufacturer) made an April Fool's joke that they were gonna make these weighted mugs. People actually wanted them, so they sold a limited run as a novelty item. A bunch of people tried to copy them, but imo it's less funny when it's not a weight company.
