if you don't want to care about "identity politics" then that's your decision of course, but don't pretend you can do that and still call yourself a socialist, because it means you are turning your back on the most vulnerable & discriminated against members of the working class.
Because we live in a society/culture that tells us all regardless of our gender or sexuality that the most desirable traits in men are the traits that also trend towards more toxic masculinity and narcissistic tendencies. Masculinity or at least our current conception of it, is deeply flawed imo.
the problem, of course, is that most of that land is owned by rich people, big corporations and often, the aristocracy who refuse to allow it to be used for anything but their own profiteering.

property developers don't care about social utility comrades, I hate to break this to you!
there is more than enough land in the UK that we can build the infrastructure and housing we need without decimating the environment or ecosystem that are also vitally important to the well being of the country (ecological collapse will hurt humans as well as plants and animals!)
literally this is what the Green Party has been saying for years about property developers and people (on the Left and Right) write them off as "NIMBY's" when in reality most of us do want more things built, we just want those things to have social utility and take into account ecological concerns.
the newspapers love this kind of thing, it makes no real difference to 99% of people in the country but in Westminster it's a great distraction from the issues that really matter.

let's get back to the economy, cost of living, housing, NHS, social care, etc please.
like the media could talk about any number of other, far more salient issues to the general public, instead we have the two old guard parties quibbling over China which both of them happily work with when in power, it's all rather mundane and background noise to me at least.
anyone else think this whole China spy thing is just a storm in a teacup? like I really struggle to care about this story.

feels like typical tabloid fare, meaningless to anything that really matters, at best it's something for security services to deal with.
shock, horror, Israel broke the ceasefire almost immediately and blamed Hamas for the IDF killing civilians. what a bunch of *unts.

The UN needs to move troops into Gaza and move Israel out.

Israel ARE the problem.
Zionists are addicted to killing Palestinians, will Trump punish Israel for this? Will he hell.
BREAKING: Three Palestinians were killed after Israeli quadcopter drones opened fire on residents inspecting their homes in the Shujaiyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
What about people who don’t have wealth or wages?
if Israel hadn't illegally colonised Palestine and committed ethnic cleansing then illegally occupied and systematically attacked and inflicted apartheid for 70 fucking years then Hamas wouldn't exist yet alone be attacking Israel.

all of this is 100% on Israel and Zionists.

* Over 20,000 Palestinians killed since January
* 100s starved to death, including kids
* Congress bypassed to send more & more bombs to Israel
* US citizens murdered in the West Bank

I hope this ceasefire holds & I am glad the hostages are free, but this is Trump’s *actual record* so far.
Just in case the dramatically low Leni Riefenstahl-style angle was too subtle, they used a word from her most famous movie

Reform UK want to take public spending down to 35% of GDP — that’s a £275 billion cut, the equivalent of shutting down the NHS.

The Green Party knows the only way to rebuild our communities is by investing in our public services, not running them down and flogging them off to the private sector.

Today on mainstream Media you saw the faces and heard the names and stories of Israelis held hostage.

But you didn't see or hear the Palestinians held hostage by Israel, except maybe to mention them as terrorists.

Do you see how biased the Media is?

telling Zionists to GTFO then blocking them is kinda cathartic ngl.
how does it feel to be a cuckold for a regime committing genocide? do you feel big or proud about it? like do you think your dick or vagina get enhanced by it? hate to break it to you but you are just a shithead.
You’re an evil scumbag
Guinness time for me, can’t beat it.
England in Autumn is peak England, it's damp, dreary and cool, perfect weather for warming up inside watching telly or going for a few drinks in a pub.

I'll take this over the buggering heatwaves anyday of the year.

Crazy that we hear about Train Drivers who get £60,000 a year for driving a train.

But we never hear about the boss of Tesco who gets £30,000 a day and doesn't even pay tax in the UK.

Or the £250m a day that the likes of Amazon, Vodafone, BP and Shell don't pay in tax.
Aren’t you an utterly rancid creature.
