Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.

My hot take is that the first anime adaptation of Fullmetal Alchemist is really really bad and I disliked it even before reading the manga and discovering the story wasn't even the right one.
FMA Brotherhood is much much better (and I thank the italian adaptation for not doing the racist CN speak)

Izra is one year younger than Maar and two than Renfred. You don't notice it much when you're 26, but you DO notice it when you're 6 and can do things 10yo kids struggle to learn (yes Izra is a magic genius), so everyone pretty much always praised him as child prodigy.

But it's also the destroying of trust in anything that you’re not seeing with your own eyes right in front of you.
Wonder now turned to the narrowing of eyes in immediate scepticism seeing something magical.
