Happy birthday, the Nintendo DS (2004)! 🎂
The DS (Deluxe Skintone) was Nintendo’s first makeup and mirror compact.
It sold poorly. In response, Nintendo built a secondary function into the device which enabled it to play rudimentary video games. The rest is history!
