a hearty farewell and rest in peace to my grandfather, who has passed at 88 years old. dick monfort has lost another enemy and my family has lost a patriarch. if anyone could win at life, i think he has a shot to claim that. a tremendous person and one i will miss.

Montgomery, Rolison, and Toglia being DFA'd/left open for a Rule V pick gives me a chance to reveal the Rockies first round picks under Bridich. Outside of Brendan Rodgers at 1-3 in 2015, these guys have one 2.2 WAR season from Toglia to show for 7 years of first rounders. Nice!
