@mattcolville.bsky.social I don't know if you've heard yet, but Alarums and Excursions has officially ended its nearly 50 year run. Lee Gold's eye sight has recently gone downhill and she can't see to edit the issues anymore. Sadly the end of an era for a titan of the early ttrpg community.

I ran a 2-hour demo of #13thAge at GenCon and thanks to writer John McGuire's recap of Things He Did at GenCon, tinyurl.com/ycxdy766, there's a writeup of some of the resulting fun. John didn't go into the comedic manipulation of his wood elf ranger's faulty memory by his sketchy comrades!
