Mexico had an Afro-Mexican president: Vicente Guerrero was famous for his role as a leader in the Mexican War of Independence and for his presidency, where he abolished slavery in Mexico. He was a key figure in the fight against Spanish colonial rule and later became the second president of Mexico.

‘Respect for the rights of others is peace’. This March 21st marks the birth of Benito Juárez García, born in 1806. He was president of Mexico from 1858 to 1872. He was born in the municipality of San Pablo Guelatao in Oaxaca, and is considered in Mexico the ‘father of the fatherland’.

Als je denkt de democratische orde te beschermen door met extreemrechts in zee te gaan, ondergraaf je niet alleen de democratie maar ook je eigen partij. NSC heeft haar ziel verkocht aan Wilders. Deelname aan dit kabinet is misschien wel de grootste politieke blunder van deze eeuw.
