Four dinosaurs, probably some form of raptor, running in a pack, looking derpy. They have forked tongues hanging out, because it makes them look derpier.

Sometimes I forget #artadventcalendar exists. Or to draw. Or that time passes.

Here’s a baby walrus. His name is Howard, he is already tired of Howard Taft jokes, and he doesn’t know it now but his friend group is going to learn about Howard the Duck soon, and then quack at him mercilessly.

Two rats, bewildered and frightened as a third rat conjures up a glowing form of a cat head, with dark energy tendrils. The background is a dark blue, and each rat is a slightly different lighter blue, with “lines” formed by using the lasso tool to block out areas and then filling that with texture, suggesting cut paper. The cat head is reddish orange lines of a similar nature on a darker blue background. There’s an orange glow from behind. The tendrils are similar, but lacking any defining lines — just the dark blue shapes with the glow behind. The energy tendrils are dark, they are not specifically the theorized Dark Energy that causes the universe to expand.

A Kentrosaurus, basically a particularly spiny stegosaurus, strolling through a late Jurassic landscape (no flowers). He is roughly blocked out with shapes using the lasso tool, and then filled in using a textured brush. He is also a little derpy.

Not the best maintained garage In town. But fascinating in an “about to collapse” way.

The problem I have with more abstract art is knowing when I’m done. so much harder than a little capybara or other animal.

Wallkill Tower, an old water tower that was turned into a cell phone tower. I took the reference photo a year or two ago in Wallkill, NY, last time I was in the area.

In the teeny, tiny town of Beacon, NY, there is a teeny, tiny free art gallery that fits in a box — take or leave art. It now has a display of a dozen of my pieces as stickers, and someone else’s ghosts.

They’re really very charming ghosts. That someone else should be very proud.

Found this drawing from when I was first learning #procreate, and I don’t think I’ve ever posted it. He is loosely based on a friend’s Uncle Lemme-lone. Not sure if the uncle was covered in fur, but pretty sure he wore clothes.
