Doxxing should be the easiest offense to prove. “Oh, someone publicized your identity without your consent? If you can’t point out where they did so, was it really publicized?”

Find a No Kings protest Saturday and go!

Don't worry that you've never been to a protest before. Don't worry about being dressed wrong or looking out of place. Don't worry that you don't agree about everything -- or even about much -- with lots of people at the protest.

I suppose I can say it now: Denver Police Department shot me in the head with a pepper ball during the George Floyd protests, but my crack team of lawyers at Arnold & Porter got me some sweet, sweet justice.

We can say both. We can say Republicans never cared about equal opportunity for minorities and women and that’s very consistent with fascism; we can also say that they’ve never been this openly hateful. Acknowledge the distinction between them and now, but also that it’s fairly small.

My car needs brakes, my rent is past due and my step kid needs shoes.

I hate having to ask this

It would be better if they lived in nicer houses for lower costs. That’s what new supply can offer!
The first results in more affordable quality housing stock and only takes a few years; the second results in poorer people suffering habitability issues and takes decades, if ever. They’re very different, and the literature confuses lots of people into thinking that good filtering takes decades.

It annoys me that researchers use the word “filtering” to describe both 1) older units getting cheaper because new supply comes in and richer people stop competing for older units, and 2) older units getting cheaper just because they get older and crappier. 1/2
DSA is gonna be really conflicted about this one

far and away the most compelling argument for pro-natalist policy is how fucking dysfunctional greying countries are becoming politically. can't cut elderly benefits. can't raise taxes. can't let in workers. no throw only fetch politics until something collapses.
What kinda plant is that?
