One small way to try to re-establish social trust would be to transparently disclose *in this very column* that you hung out with Jeffrey Epstein.

There’s a significant distinction between a banner raising ceremony and memorializing a significant accomplishment. I get the Knicks not wanting to do a victory lap on Friday, but at some point in the next few months there should ABSOLUTELY be a banner hanging in MSG.

A trophy for the New York Knicks.

The 2025-26 New York Rangers, everyone
Just a furious third period comeback again. A barrage, a siege.

It all boils down to this. Kakko and Laf were mostly bad luck - consensus picks that didn’t pan out - but plenty of other mistakes were made.
And regarding the #NYR rebuild, they had 2 firsts in 2017 and another 6 following the letter, picking top-10 4 times (1, 2, 7, 9).

Not one franchise player. Not one elite talent. No team can survive a rebuild with that.

Not a blame game. Just a straight fact.
Mika, Miller, Trocheck, Panarin, and Lafreniere combine for $41 million in cap space.

They have 43 goals combined through 34 games.

It doesn't matter what the #NYR lineup looks like, who's in net, who's on the blue line, which kids play, etc. If these 5 don't score, then NYR are dead in the water.

I’m going to assume that Zibanejad isn’t the first guy to miss a meeting in the last decade, but this is the first time the Rangers have disciplined anyone since… Tony DeAngelo? The whole purpose of accountability is that it isn’t done selectively. The rules are what they are for everyone.
Lots of horrible Mika Zibanejad / accountability takes on the TL right now

Come for the talk on the Chicago game and Noah Laba's future position, stay for me melting down over another fucking question about Conor fucking Sheary. #NYR

Also, did you know Hayden Christensen and Erik Christensen are related?
The Rangers sent the wrong message; plus a rant on Conor Sheary #NYR #NYRangers

Thought this was spot on from @rangersrecap.bsky.social. We’ll have more on the state of the franchise on this week’s @blueseatslive.bsky.social, recording tonight / dropping tomorrow. @blueseatblogs.com will post for questions a little later today!

I’m an eternal optimist and even I felt a *little* silly about this team taking a victory lap for (barely) hanging with Colorado and playing well but losing vs. Vegas. The truth is, the flaws (lack of speed and a modern offensive game) outweigh the strengths (improved defense and structure).

I have a staunch rule against complaining about assistant coaches in hockey, but David Quinn being at the helm of this power play and them sticking with the 5-forward look is definitely… something.

Given his reach and his reputation as America's harmless bedtime chuckle buddy, I'm really not sure there's a worse person in mass media. Just a cynical soulless hack.

I’m sorry I thought the Jets played yesterday?
The Philadelphia Eagles' offensive struggles this season reached a comical new low against the Los Angeles Chargers on MNF, when Jalen Hurts threw an interception and lost a fumble on the same play.

What’s truly remarkable to me is how pre-Trump conservatives endlessly whined about the “Nanny State” and now this is just par for the course.
NEW: Dr. Oz is quite literally telling his federal employees to eat less.

“You don't have to try every cookie on the holiday table,” wrote Mehmet Oz in an email to all Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services employees.

That said, 6 of 8 points this week given the schedule is ultimately really solid.
That is a brutal loss.

Can’t argue with the Rangers’ effort for most of these last three games. Would be huge to finish this one.

This is very much a “we simply don’t have the horses” game for #NYR, especially without Fox. We’ll see if there’s legit pushback, and hopefully this isn’t Tampa pt. 2
December 8, 2025 at 12:54 AM
Normally I’d be in the camp that you have to “earn” your power plays but the Rangers have spent plenty of time in Colorado’s end and somehow not gotten a call.
