I was called Hermione back in school because I'm a nerd and a friend I constantly hung up with looked like Harry. 😬 I always took it as a compliment, though, partly because she was my favorite character and I was proud being a nerd. 😁

been seeing this kinda mindset going around again and it makes me sad. so i want to quickly share my view

(2 panel comic)

panel 1: (instead of this:) an artist who is 26 looks at an 18 year old artist, and says "man. that artist is so much younger than me. but their work is way better...! at this rate i'll never compare." their art is of a very sad stickman, and the 18 year old's is of an anime boy, that they're putting up on a wall.

panel 2: (try this!) the 26 year old artist says, "wow, that artist is really good. and they're younger than me?! if they can do it, then i can too!". their art is of a much happier stickman, while the 18 year old's is of a different anime boy. they look proud of their work.

finally got the motivation to work on trying to add book 2 quotes to marth bot

slightly related; xane slowly opening up to marth and trusting him enough to tell him how the dragons that didnt become manaketes were degenerating still destroys me

mind you, xane hated humans as much as MEDEUS did.
