My dad fought fascism in WWII. I’m proud to be an anti-fascist & follow him today.
Be fucking resilient. Find another way. There’s always another way.

My take: We’re in a war. No one on the side of the authorities, MAGA or not, can be trusted. Only lies will come from official sources unless by accident. Plutocrat media is a fog from which only some truth can be uncovered. Know your enemy. Give nothing away. Expect atrocities. Seek what’s real.

BTW, this is the kind of thing that, built atop all the other pressures and no-win traps the rich have set for us, puts people’s backs to the wall and will erupt in violent, extended rebellion. It’s as if they want us to, so they can wipe us out and be done with us.

So I’m moving forward secure in the knowledge the President Mamdani can send enforcers to the states to ensure Democrats prevail in all future elections, as long as long as the non-partisan prosecutor councils are overseen by a partisan Democrat.
The President of the United States personally called and pressured Georgia election officials to declare him the winner of an election he'd lost. This is permissible.

Cross-wearing, lying, heartless scum of the earth.

This is tragic. As an adoptee I know that being cut off from biology puts your sense of heritage at the mercy of others’ stories. He believed his family. None of his good work can be negated or dismissed, declared fraudulent or made illegitimate because of that.

This is an insightful but deeply upsetting article about why everyone in the US feels poor, and why the current political situation emerges as a direct result.

Trump’s attacks on the EPA got me thinking about this website, that gives real-time readings on pollution around the world. For all the talk of China’s green economy, it’s one of the worst. So is India, and Turkey. That’s the world the Regime wants for us.

We were raised in a time when fear of the masses, & its resultant boundaries of propriety & etiquette, kept us from fully grasping the truly feral character of the rich. That fear is gone. Nero’s time has come again. We are only shadows on a chessboard to such people. From Cory’s thread:

Remember Stephen King’s The Dome, how it turned out that basically all the suffering was caused by a little alien kid whose parents got her an ant farm & who wanted to see if the ants could survive without air? If H5N5 were to infect a human at the same time as a human flu virus, the circulating mix could cause an antigenic shift that might allow it to spread human to human.
But one thing is sure-this Regime has so thoroughly broken public health monitoring in this country, we are very much on our own.
