With access to a deep library of games and the resources to discover and play them... It's like going to an old style candy shop with candy you never heard of and walking out with a hershey's bar (and then posting a video of it on tiktok that goes viral and promotes hershey's.)

It's why I still haven't streamed Silent Hill 3 or any resident evil games at this point, there's nothing new to add, you've seen hundreds of streamers play them "for the first time" in the past 5 years. I just find them exhausting and oversaturated. No offense, its on me.

That feeling honestly pushed me away from engaging with a lot of games and series I loved growing up, cause I realized they were very surface level for my time; but now they're juggernauts, and staples of content farms & tourism.

Youtube essayists got to punpun. It's popular now these days anyways, Inio Asano's works are pretty known & loved now. I remember reading Oyasumi Punpun when it was ongoing, and then telling friends to check it out, but their response were "we don't want to read your shitty depressed bird manga." 🙃

That he is, always loved reading his blogs/articles ever since the X-Entertainment days. Made me appreciate the simpler things in life, and the dives into weird deep cuts or obscure media, and junk foods. A Halloween season without him would just not feel proper.

A big regret of mine was how long I called myself a vtuber & artist in my profiles. It’s not wrong as it’s apart of my actual identity, but it feels like I probably got mistaken for one of those fucking posers that poisoned the well.

I often wonder how poisoned of a word “vtuber” has become.”Artist” as well. It feels like using either of these or both in conjunction is surely getting you added to block scripts and world filters. There’s times I put vtuber in my profile name and feel invisible, then remove it and see activity…
