Spent September living in a Ronald McDonald House while my daughter was in the hospital, spent last month trying to help her cope with now being legally blind and having new mobility issues. Been buried in contract work all the while, which has been exceptionally stressful!

Projecting KI collision space with perfect accuracy, I noticed that hit shapes significantly deviate from the visuals across stages! Take a look at the different offsets for Fulgore's idle hit shape at the same scale/frame on 3 different stages.

Through the power of DickTrainer Emulation Technology, Killer Instinct has achieved average frame times in the realm of 1.3 milliseconds; single-threaded on a 2.5GHz Intel CPU and with no attempt to optimize the ADSP! Planning to get a beta build to the patrons in a few weeks.

I'm sad to say that funding has been pulled on my KI/KI2 emulator. However, I still want to make this thing; I love KI, I'm pretty far along, and this emulator beats everything in terms of accuracy, speed, and functionality. Here's the situation, the plan, and how you can help!

This is correct. For the last decade, I’ve been warning people about the longer-term consequences Blender would have on labor value for both artists and developers/contributors. Every penny in a peer’s pocket was a dime in the master’s. Blender’s corporate sponsors aren’t there to be altruistic.
the fact is that they are terrible businesses and that's why nearly every major 3D tool has been sold multiple times, before ending up as part of a megacorp that didn't realize it would be impossible to turn it into the next photoshop or autocad.

I can't currently say much about why I'm writing a KI emulator from scratch (including a new MIPS III core which aims to achieve dynarec-like speeds without any dynarec), but I am, and IT'S ALIVE!
