I was scanning some old photos from the early 90s today and look who I stumbled upon
The Merchant Adventurers Hall. The Merchant Adventurers Hall.

Person opposite me on the train has a water bottle on the table. Is this just wear and tear or deliberate defacement?
A "contigo" bottle with a part of one of the letters scratched out

Also if they were to be elected I'd rather "hope" (see what I did there?) that they would be doing more than making us think "hope this lot is better" and rather that they were actually delivering. Or something

Some truly amazing #cloudinversions filling the entirety of the #Eden Valley this afternoon as viewed from the #NorthPennines with the #Howgills and #LakeDistrict rising out of the sea of clouds. #Meteorology #weather
Panoramic photo from Hartshead Summit across the wide expanse of the Eden Valley. The sun is just about to set.into the clouds The hills of the Lake District (Skiddaw, Blencathra area) can be seen riding above the cloud inversion An earlier photo from a different point but with the Eden Valley filled with cloud. The Howgill hills are rising out of the clouds A panoramic view of the cloud filled Eden Valley from Shot Moss on the edge of the North Pennines

Did he at least have a curly wig? If he was going method he'd have to have been agent Grendel

I left my original psp (along with a bottle of gin) on a coach somewhere in the middle of Turkey after a waking up blurry from a 12 hour drive. Had to buy a replacement in duty free later

I'd best not look for that on the work laptop but definitely will look it up when I get home. Thanks for the heads up. FEVER!!!!!

I still love the PSP and dig it out from time to time (in fact regretting that I didn't stick it in the bag today as I'm working away with an overnight stop and lots of trains). LocoRoco and Patapon are two truly unknown classics. Did you ever play them? I sense they might have been up your street

I am new to you this year but are you telling me this story is just some old shit?

Morning! Up and out at sparrowfart today with the boy before heading to get a train to Sheffield. The clouds were playing silly games at 5am when they thought nobody was watching
#clouds #moon #beforesunrise #blackandwhite
An oval shaped cloud (I just missed getting the phone out of my pocket when it was being almost perfectly circular) flanked by trees and a fenceline
The same cloud a minute or two later further down the path. Just one small tree on the horizon. The cloud has now become a triangle A third photo of the same cloud formation with the same tree as the second photo but again, taken from further along the railway path. The cloud is now, to my mind at least, in the shape of Australia Final of four photos. Back In an embankment on the railway path with the cloud again flanked by bushes and a fence. This time the formation has changed to two imperfect circles joined together

Mind you, for the TV show (not watched it yet) I'll wager they film it in Kent/Sussex. Far too likely that Mr Coogan would risk a driving ban if he was travelling around the M25 to film

Yep this. There's a bit in one of the first episodes of from the oasthouse that says it's a modern replica
