Very saddened to learn that the great Hal Sirowitz passed away recently. He was a fantastic poet, a great asinine poet who attended several asinine poetry readings and contributed to asinine poetry anthologies. A sweet person, a guiding spirit. This is a loss.

There is a book club organization out there emailing authors telling them the club will feature their work for a "modest fee" for "branded materials" etc. Do not fall for this nonsense. You should never, as a writer, have to pay for such things.

When we moved to the new cave, Dook became my first and best homie. My tribe bounced around a lot, trying to dodge the cold and get grub, you know? When we found this cave, Dad was stoked. Then, we found this whole other tribe already living there. A small one, but, like, seriously? They were short, stocky, had, like, the biggest brows I’d ever seen.
