I’ve sometimes fallen into the trap of thinking that complementing a creative person for their work is less sophisticated or desired than discussion or debate about it but very often the best thing you can say to them is hell yeah and that doesn’t make you dumb it just makes you nice

My favorite part of making a webcomic is that I can just go back and change things whenever I feel like I could do better. This power has only driven me slightly absolutely insane because I constantly feel like I could’ve done better.

complex, longform narrative comics are best read as webcomics, because a schedule of regular updates encourages the reader to actively engage with the story, while graphic novels often are read too quickly to absorb all the thought and effort that went into them
