Federal authorities are releasing fourth-grader Elizabeth Zuna, the first of several students detained by immigration officers in the Minneapolis suburb of Columbia Heights, the school district's superintendent said.

If all else fails, try the “grandkid test”: 50 years from now, will our grandkids be proud of how - or even if - we stood up for justice?
Your friends are still acting like everything is normal in America. What do you do?

I've just seen the word "unalive" used earnestly in a non-fiction book that is specifically written to deconstruct harmful tropes built in to modern romance novels.

Girl you explicitly talked about sexual violence not 20 pages ago what the fuck do you MEAN "unalive"?!?!?!?

Congress, it's time to start an independent commission to investigate and make sense of the Epstein Files.

The American public demands answers for everyone named in the files and accountability for the victims. It's time.

How deep does this go? Why won't the DOJ do their job? Investigate them.

I think one thing people outside Minnesota don't understand is that after Good and Pretti were killed by feds while observing, the most normal people you could imagine have made peace with the fact that they could be next, and they are still out there because they say it's the right thing to do.
“If I am killed doing this, throw my body at the White House, martyr the shit out of me & raise hell. Do not be sad. Do not think I would do anything differently. I would do it over & over again — this is too important to sit down & shut up and not do anything.” www.mprnews.org/story/2026/0...

This is really it! Getting emergency rental assistance approved helps landlords! Typically, the payments are made directly to them! Back rent of evicted tenants is rarely recovered! If the council moderates actually supported landlords, they'd rush to get this approved. They just hate poor people
Watching every other small immigrant owned business suffer while we bust our asses to make sure landlords get paid. 🤬

Milwaukee, WI – On the afternoon of January 31, more than a dozen activists gathered together at the call of the Milwaukee Area Labor Council, and in response to a National Day of Action, to protest the inaction of Target around ICE. The protesters marched together into the store located in West Milwaukee singing “Which side are you on, Target, which side are you on?” before gathering near the entrance to read a letter addressed to Target’s CEO. “We took action today to ask the Target corporation to lift their powerful voice and say ICE out of Minnesota. Operation Metro Surge is not making Minnesota safer. Today's announcement is a step in the right direction, but we need a faster and larger drawdown of forces, state-led investigations into the killings of Alex Pretti and Renee Good, and an end to this campaign of retribution.
With the immediate removal of 700 federal agents from Minnesota, border czar Tom Homan put the total number of agents remaining in the state at approximately 2,000.

That’s still a dramatic increase from the normal immigration and enforcement staffing in Minnesota of around 150 agents.

If ICE agents didn't wear masks, they would be FAMOUS for all the wrong reasons. So if you wanna see mass resignations, prevent them from wearing masks.

That said, abolishing ICE is the only way to truly prevent more violence, harm and murder.
