Wife is now playing #Silksong too. Struggling some, but making great progress. We've played 100+ hours & discussed it at length. We both agree, it REALLY needs an oldschool RPG vignette in the (2nd) ending showing the effects on Pharloom's residents. Or let us back in the world to talk to them more.

I live in a very rural area in a conservative county. There is no good foreign takeout anywhere near me. The only solution is to teach yourself how to make the best curry, Kung Pao, stir fry, pho etc. yourself. Sure it takes time, but it's SO satisfying when you're craving something authentic! 😋

The crazy thing is that most Dems who consider themselves pretty far left nowadays would barely be considered mild centrists by most objective outside observers. Europeans consider the base Dem position to be right of center.

How about they station the Police outside ICE detention centres and don't let them take their victims in unless they show the Police a lawfull warrant. If they can't then the Police arrest the Agents for Kidnapping and release the victims.

People are desperate to be personalities. They feel like their "brand" is performative and transformative enough to be its own content.

I don't get the whole "reaction video" thing. It drives me crazy, and it absolutely gluts social media and YouTube with total dreck. Why do people like this shit?

I asked my doctor if I should get scanned, and she said they don't even start checking until you're 50 if you're at risk, and 55 if not (i.e. no history / precursors). It's crazy to me we haven't developed any kind of early check for pancreatic or prostate cancer, considering how deadly they can be.

You don't get to claim you're "not political" when you or your compatriots are actively donating to & supporting both sides (or too often, ONLY the right because you want favorable deregulation passed).
