Introducing Alex, a post-doctoral research fellow on ReSET. Alex has been involved in designing and developing the cognitive-emotional training tasks used in the project. He has been closely involved in our intervention's development and the evaluation of collected measures.

This is anti-bullying week, pioneered by the Anti-Bullying Alliance and a particularly relevant cause for ReSET as we work with adolescents.

At our conference last week, Prof. René Veenstra and Prof. Lucy Bowes presented some interesting research surrounding adolescent bullying behaviours.

ReSET combines elements of interpersonal therapy with app-based cognitive-emotional training 🧠 📱. Through group sessions, young people used different “Me” and “We” strategies to consider different ways to resolve interpersonal issues and perceive others’ emotions and behaviours more positively.

OCD Self-Care / Coping Strategies

Mind (buff.ly/VW4iyFt) have some brilliant, and scientifically informed, self-care coping strategies for OCD. We particularly liked these three strategies, as they are not only useful for coping with OCD but also managing general wellbeing (very on-topic for us!).
