Worried about local ICE abuse and unconstitutional detentions and deportations in our region?
Submit reports to Senator Fetterman’s office at [email protected] and copy [email protected]
We really need to take care of each other in the current federal climate.

🤔What would you do with $1560❓🤔
Nicotine addiction is expensive (about $30/week???) People like Krysta at Penn Medicine LGH offer FREE services and products to help kick the habit. Pocket that money, breathe fresher air, and do it with the LGH cheering squad of Lancaster Joining Forces behind you 🌟

An AMAZING exhibit, “Vietnamese Boat People,” is on display all February at the Ware Center (3rd floor). Opening night featured Barry Kornhauser, Cindy Lam of Lancaster AAPI, Ho-Thanh Nguyen, and remarks by Tracy Nguyen Mang, honoring resilience, community, and new beginnings in the USA.

Today, our office recognizes National Wear Red Day to raise awareness about heart disease—the leading cause of death for women in the United States. By promoting prevention, research, and education, we can support healthier outcomes for families and communities across our state. #HeartHealth

Public education funding, fraud protection, a more streamlined professional licensure process - these are just a few of my favorite highlights in this year's #PaBudget proposal.

❄️Bundle up❄️ Looks like MT Parker predicts 6 more weeks of winter ❄️
Congrats to the Reidenbaugh student whose poem was selected and read at the Stauffer Mansion this morning!
Great seeing our MT staff, talented accordion player, MT Commissioners, and families braving the cold before school and work🌟

Holy science‼️ Lancaster’s Wastewater Treatment Plant on New Danville Pike serves thousands in House District 96—an essential service we often take for granted. The biology and chemistry of cleaning wastewater is amazing. Thanks to Allison for a great tour and education on where our wastewater goes.

Federal chaos has gone too long—cruel, reckless, unconstitutional actions day after day. Today I joined Rep Tarik Khan and colleagues on a House Resolution demanding DHS/ICE accountability and withholding funds until reforms pass. Pennsylvanians deserve better. Find your PA legislators and speak up.

Honored to join my staff, Joyce and Heather, in the 2026 PIT Count with Anchor Lancaster, surveying unhoused neighbors at daily breakfast. I met kind, funny, inspiring people and dedicated volunteers. We need affordable housing tied to wages—and a higher minimum wage. Everyone deserves a safe home.

I’m 53. 53 yrs ago Roe v. Wade protected reproductive healthcare freedoms. For most of my life, govt stayed out of doctors’ offices; 3 years ago that ended. Freedom means bodily autonomy. Gov. Shapiro fights back and so will I in PA and nationwide. Join us: pahouse.com/TakeAction?ac=156 🇺🇸

🌟A joy to meet with Lancaster Salvation Army leaders Rev. Bonnie Camarda, Peter Keny, and Major Robert Reel! For 135 years, the org has supported Lancaster through ARC, Pathway of Hope, food pantry, assistance programs, and more. They serve all, including LGBTQ+ neighbors. Great visit and learning!

Talk about local heroes!!! Our local American Red Cross Executive Director, Laura Burke, and volunteer, Jason Bugg, shared the heroics that their organization provides, especially in crisis.
My office can’t wait to host blood drives and first-aid training with them in the future🌟

“PIPPA,” a one-month-old goat, is a hit at the 110th PA Farm Show. At the Public Officials Luncheon, Gov. Shapiro highlighted support for PA’s 48,000 farms, $133B ag impact, and full funding of the PA Farm Bill. Ag Sec. Redding stressed food’s power and local prosperity. HD96 supports ag sciences!
