The racist video of the Obamas shared by Trump is unacceptable any way you square it. It doesn’t matter what lies or justification the White House will come up with to try to smooth it over. It’s plainly indicative of the racist rot overtaking this administration.

If you get a text message saying you have unpaid tolls or traffic fines, it may be a scam.

The Oregon Department of Transportation is warning about a phishing scam going around, where unsolicited text messages pretend to be the Oregon DMV or Oregon Dept. of Transportation.

Happy first Wise Wednesday of the 2026 session!

Things are moving quickly: we heard the most recent revenue forecast and have been busy since we kicked off on Monday. I'm looking forward to getting as much done as possible during this short session.

Private companies like Avelo Airlines are profiting off deportation flights that tear families apart and harm our communities.

That is not who we are in Oregon.

Oregonians are the customer. We get to choose where our dollars go.

📚 Kids can’t learn if they’re not in school.

Attendance is one of the strongest predictors of graduation, workforce readiness, and long-term family stability, and right now, Oregon has the 3rd highest rate of chronic absenteeism in the nation.

Last Wise Wednesday before session — lots of level-setting to be done. I'm grateful for our community's resilience, despite all the harms endured.

Looking forward to connecting with folks at our town hall and in the capitol! The hard work gets done when we do it together 🤍

DHS opened fire in a residential Portland neighborhood, blocks from our District Senator’s home.

That is not public safety.

It is a dangerous abuse of power by a federal agency operating without accountability.

Enough is Enough.
