Through these everyday acts of care and by staying informed and prepared, we protect what matters most: our people and values.

These are difficult times, but remember we are not alone because we are stronger together.
I ask you to please save the PIRC hotline number (1-888-622-1510) to report ICE activity. Save it as a contact in your phones and share it with loved ones.
As Oregonians, we look out for one another – it’s who we are at our core. In times like these, that means checking on the family next door, offering a ride when someone needs it, and sharing reliable information when uncertainty runs high.
Today, the BIPOC Caucus mourns the loss of a dear friend and extends their deepest condolences to the family and friends of Representative Hòa Nguyễn. In the Capitol, she will be remembered for pouring her heart and soul into bringing communities together.

Oregon was the first sanctuary state in the country because we believe in protecting all our communities. We will not back down from this fight. We have led before, and we must lead again.
This ruling is not just an immigration issue. It’s a civil rights crisis. By opening the door for racial profiling, the Supreme Court gave President Trump the leeway to target anyone simply because of how they look, how they speak, or what job they may have.
As the BIPOC Caucus, we condemn this decision by the Supreme Court and reaffirm our commitment to defending the rights and freedoms of all Oregonians, especially our Indigenous, immigrant, and refugee communities.
