Most people don’t know this, but the JP version of Quest 64 was rereleased in North America on PlayStation in August, 2000. Due to all the changes, this edition received a new title: “Chrono Cross.”
Nabbed a Japanese copy of Quest 64 for my Analogue 3D to see just how improved it is over the English version that released 13 months earlier. I said it felt rushed to market - did the Japanese version fix its probs? (Doubt it.)

A bit of a shame that playing this in handheld feels pretty cumbersome due to the motion controls of the star bits.
I think I’m going to have to only play it on the tv instead.
