The more I learned to appreciate human decision making in fighting game interactions, the more I feel out of place with regards to what I find appealing about the genre

COTW and EVO alike have shown me that there’s an awful lot of people in the FGC that don’t give a shit about how the sausage gets made, so long as they get to eat. Which would be understandable if that stance concerned a legitimate existential need, and not simply a form of entertainment.

MBAACC is such a fun game to play the 2P game by feel. It’s so much more intuitive than UNI in that regard; even as an experienced player I feel like I have to be so much more focused to interact and have fun interacting

Out at 49th/491. Kinda bummed but I got outplayed in the end; as a training partner and friend I’m still glad Hammer’s been able to find his stride this weekend
I have more to write up later but for now I need to just enjoy the rest of the event as it goes
