Next Dem President should announce that they will not be removing the ballroom because we respect the history of the White House. Then announce you are naming it “The Epstein Memorial Ballroom built by Donald Trump” and that the plaque will memorialize all the private donors who made it a reality.

We are currently seeing what is happening right now. There is no finish line moment where Jeffries finally endorses him and then all is ok. These months and weeks are the time when an endorsement would help fence sitters move towards Mamdani. Failing to do so is de-facto hurting his candidacy.

That’s what “endorsing” is. It’s articulating your position. If you support Mamdani but refuse to articulate that fact, then you are not “endorsing” him. You are just a silent supporter who refuses to use your position to help the candidate win.

IMHO if someone doesn’t think you are a legitimate journalist, then your communications are fair game.

If they do play the “off the record” card then they are admitting that you should both be adhering to journalistic ethics.

Unfortunately, that’s a card that can’t be played after the fact.

This is why I don’t volunteer respect or honor for our military anymore. Someone on that boat gave an illegal order to kill the people on this boat and everyone up and down the chain of command just went along with it. And now they are admitting that they were innocent. Not a peep from anyone.
