Fourth game with this Ork green tide list, this time against ‘diggy bugs’. A real close game but a third win for Ghaz and the Boyz, mostly down to the warlord’s destructive power and some admittedly good luck to bonk the Swarmlord with regular Boyz. #warhammer #orks #nerdlings
The Ork horde lined up ready to go. Two big mobs on foot, two in battlewagons and a big grot screen in front! Chaff fight! Scouting grots and Kommandos vs Gargoyles and Hormagaunts! Genestealers come out of a hole and completely wipe a unit of Boyz and a warboss, after the neurolictor precision killed the painboy. Lots of snake bugs coming out of the ground to charge my Boyz on an objective.

Still running the Green Tide, this time into Tac brigade Orks! Thanks to my invulnerable saves and some key charges going my way, my Boyz came out on top. #warhammer #nerdlings #Orks
Busy Orky battlefield. Ghazghkull and 20 Boyz are in a ruined building with a battlewagon poking out. Downfield a swarm of opposing Ork units are taking up positions around the ruins to draw line of sight or changes. Tankbustas are on the back left of the pic while a bunch of trukks and a big load of flash gits are on the right. Tacticul Brigade lining up shots on the flank. Tankbustas jumping out of trukks on the right looking to target a battlewagon. Flash gits in the left aiming to remove a line of scouting grots. Meganobz positioning in a ruin in the centre for a charge. Ghaz and a few remaining Boyz after braving overwatch remove the flash gits, leaving just their trukk and big mek. Big mob of Boyz charges across the central objective into a mess of tankbustas, who are in melee with Ghaz, supported by two trukks. At the bottom of the pic grots and a big mek swarm a lone warboss, who killed the other tank bustas on the counter offensive.

Ghazghkull leading a unit of Boyz through ruins, behind a small unit of kommandos, who are acting as the bait for Canis Rex and a helverin. A mob of Boyz is funnelled by terrain and nearby units into a wedge, facing down a red and gold knight Paladin. A knight Gallant is in the centre of the battlefield with an armiger on each side, as mobs of Boyz emerge from the ruins and a battle wagon to surround it. A view down the board as the wave of Orks are about to hit the knights. Ghaz and Canis Rex are in the foreground, with other knights and loads of Boyz are lined up towards the other side of the battlefield. WAAAGH!

Green tide back on the table. Orks vs Emperors’ Children and daemons. Game ended early but close on points so we called it a draw. Ghaz was a monster of course, but I wasn’t able to get the most out of his unit so I think I need them to be central, ready to go for the WAAAGH turn.

Had a fun time at a FLGS tournament today with my Orks, running Dreadmob with a Gork and Morkanaut. Went 1-2, with one of the losses a very narrow one at 72-74. Overall pretty happy with that 🙂

Some recent warhams - been playing 40K with Death Guard (to limited success) and Bloodbowl with Norse (who have been wildly exceeding my expectations!) #warhammer #nerdlings
Mortarion looks down on some Howling Banshees and Poxwalkers on an objective in a ruin. Norse players caging up on the ball carrying Valkyrie. Several other players are scrapping nearby. Lord Invocatus in white armour on black juggernaut. Loads of blood splatter. Corvus Blackstar, mostly black with red detail, some wear and tear in the highlighting. Striking Scorpions in two units of five. Light green armour with yellow helmets and blue shoulder and knee panels. Aeldari Wraith constructs in teal, with blue details and grey heads.
