This is a Wax Heads fana account!

I'm so excited to play. Great job with the presentation @rothiotome.bsky.social , and how fun to have Diggy Doggo included!
Our very own @rothiotome.bsky.social shares a look at how the main gameplay loop works in Wax Heads in our latest Dev Log!

We hope you enjoy! 😊

GUYS! I need your help. If we get to 100 followers by tomorrow my manager said I can leave early for the day.

If a sim game with a cozy-punk narrative about running a struggling record store your thing drop us a follow and a repost 🙏

We can't wait to bring Wax Heads to you all in early 2026!

🫠🥰😭
here's a snippet of one of the last songs i've made for Wax Heads!!!

it's about something i'm super passionate about -- music not having to be ✨perfect✨ and being a thing of joy and expression and bringing people together

so i hope you enjoy my perfectly imperfect rendition 😌

The Spiral Zone intro goes way harder than I remember, like, the themes in here seem pretty dark and post-apocalyptic. As a kid, I remember liking the monocycles they all rode.

Has Figjam caught up with Miro? Will it ever, or is that not the point of the tool?

Pretty disappointing proposals to change terms around UK visas, long term residency, and citizenship.

The way they're treating dependents feel especially cruel.

I loosely understood and liked CSS's "em" and "rem" units, but wanted to really wrap my head around them.

Most explanations have been pretty bad, but I found this CodePen that helps explain it:

I love videos that explode and explain songs and how they're made, so I've been delighted to find Captain Pikant.

Great video production value on top of really thorough and technical process.

Just saw the Running Man, which was fun, and what a funny use of Lee Pace. One of the biggest hunks (6'4") acting right now, and he's in a mask. Well done Edgar Wright.

There's a 10 year old and his mom who comes to my Saturday "knit & natter".

Today he sat next to me and asked for some help. I showed him how to purl, which lead to the stockinette, and then rib stitch patterns. It was fun, he was a quick study and easy going about the process. 🧶

I've been thinking about getting some mock-up templates for my portfolio, so my presentation looks a little more exciting than a basic screenshot…

and now AdSense is flooding my feed, like the demand is so low that when someone finally showed interest, these companies rush in like hungry wolves.

Thinking back to one of the more toxic teams I worked on, where a lead made his team keep their design docs in MS Word buried in some obscure Perforce folder.

Most of the files were collecting dust, but he was adamant about the docs, even though the game wasn't fun.
it's on miro. it's literally on figma. you have to log into okta. it's in jira. it's on zoom. it's on pureref. it's on flow. it's on perforce. it's on slack. you can find it on slack. you can go to slack and find it. log onto slack right now. you can slack it. slack has it for you. it's on slack.

And by "light" I mean ray-tracing, this book is almost 1200 pages and 4.5 lbs.

Any advice on how to regulate your temperature in bed when it's too hot under the blankets 🥵, and too cold in the room to stick and arm or leg out 🥶?

I still haven't found that perfect balance of layering and the target changes a little each night as we inch into winter.😴
