Put my iTunes library on shuffle this morning and the theme song from Brum was offered up during my commute to work. Decades ago when my son was small we'd watch this show together and I always thought the theme song was better than it needed to be.

What other kid show themes fit that same bill?

Awesome! I hope it is an amazing trip that creates amazing memories. Have fun!
Here is the Jack-o'-lantern being drawn
Last Halloween I programmed a Jack-o'-lantern in Atari ST BASIC. Since I cannot focus on doing much of anything these days, I figured I'd share my previous useless crap.
I know this is going to come as a shock, but I am not choosing the Mega ST, though I do love it so.

I'm going with the Color Classic because.... damn that industrial design is so perfect to behold.

Damn shame a stock CC is so slow though. Waste of a perfect design.
The Macintosh Performa promo picture for this article was a choice. Was it a good choice? That I cannot say, but it was a choice.
Gee, the Fall ‘86 issue of STart Magazine has a topical article about running Artificial Intelligence languages on my Atari ST. ChatGPT can suck it!
Reading through some October issues of my old #Atari magazines and the Fall ‘86 issue of STart and the October ‘95 issue of ST Format still have their cover disks intact. Maybe I should leave them be or maybe I should finally get around to seeing if the disks are still good.
We are just six weeks away from Atari Party 2025! If you find yourself in the Northeast / Mid-Atlantic USA on November 22nd and love Atari or vintage gaming/computing be sure to check in and let us know if you'd like to attend.

The Big Red H for the win
The Atari Compugraph Foto was one such example. I don't recall whether or not Atari was involved in my ASCII photo, but I hope it was :)
Me, aged five, in ASCII form. Taken on the Atlantic City, NJ boardwalk during the summer of 1975. Long, long, time ago.......
Atari Party 2025 is coming up and I usually try to program a small demo to run on one of my machines at the party. I haven't gotten around to doing that yet this year, but I found this aborted bit that I didn't include in my 2024 demo.

Maybe I can work off of this to inspire me to get working.
Oh wow. Those are the best kinds of ride experiences.
It really is well done and the Cast Members really seem to enjoy playing their parts. Love it.
I have returned from a week at the House of Mouse. Though Mickey isn't without his problems it was good for my mental health to take a break from the relentless diet of depressing news.
Heading to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party with my #Atari Haunted House hat and my Dead Milkmen t-shirt.

Being old has its privileges.

Oh wow. It’s been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. It’s so fun. Classic easy to learn, hard to master game. Plus even the 2600 version has really nice graphics.
Looked at a news feed and quickly noped out. Decided to play #Atari instead because everything in the real world is stupid.

Keystone Kapers is a damn fine diversion.
