Monday #ootd definitely looks like a person who would (and did) make this magazine-worthy soup last night.
Saturday, Sunday, and Monday #ootd. Still miffed about the cool weather but at least it’s starting to creep up?
There pink bandana really makes the entire outfit today.
Another cold and rainy day in beautiful Chicago. 😑 I opted for resigned comfort for today’s #OOTD. I threw a bag on it to make it a little more interesting even though I’m not going anywhere. 😂
Tuesday’s outfit never set foot outside because it rained all day and fuck that.
I like today’s outfit better in real life than in the photo, it’s just simple and easy. Breakfast featuring the “B” mug I found at the garage sales yesterday.
Today’s outfit was assembled for going to the community garage sale in Ravenswood Manor. Very crowded, but tons to see!
Forgot to post this earlier, but I love this one. A bit funkier than my weekday looks and super comfortable for walking around.

Today’s #OOTD is taking full advantage of Chicago’s summer temps while we have them.
From today’s walk, before the storms rolled through Chicago.
Today’s #OOTD is ecstatic that we finally have a day that feels like summer, and the kitties just want to stay close.
The whole point of studying literature (English or not) is that it teaches you how to read between the lines, find the subtext, find what’s not being said, call it out and argue with it.

In other words, media literacy.
just to respond to the specifics here, not the broader discussion, I don’t think I understand what the point of being an ENGLISH MAJOR would be if you can’t expect your professors to assign you one of the major forms of English writing as part of the core expectations of your work?
The fog that rolls in off the lake is one of my absolute favorite things about spring in Chicago.
Wednesday outfit plus cat.
Today’s #OOTD is for the cats. I found this shirt in Paris last year. ❤️
Monday’s #OOTD is honestly just comfortable after a lovely but exhausting weekend with my family. The kitties are relieved that I’m home, and I’m relieved that the sun is shining with an expected high of 67°.
I see that the regime is wholly unfamiliar with the story of the Trojan Horse.
Outfit for Mother’s Day lunch. My mom, my sister and I all showed up in denim jackets. 😂
Dammit SNL, it’s Chicago pope week, you had ONE JOB tonight and all we got was a double doink.

I was very amused, however, by my mother grumping with exasperation that she’s “never even HEARD of Arcade Fire!” 😂
I keep thinking about the likelihood that he has nieces and nephews rolling around in Chicago using “My uncle is the pope” as a pickup line.
Today’s #ootd is ready for my niece’s track sectional. Yellow for her school colors, and layers because we expected the day to start off cool before warming up. She qualified for state with one of her relays!
I have gone from knowing next to nothing about fashion to passing a mom on the street and instantly recognizing the brand and style of her trench-coat in a fairly short period of time, and I’ve got to admit, this level of awareness is very weird.

(If you’re curious It was Sézane’s Clyde trench.)
