My Scottish DNA comes from my 7th great grandfather Duncan Stewart (1623-1717).

In 1650, he got caught up in the English civil wars and captured by the British.

Grandpa was forced into indentured servitude and deported to the Massachusetts Bay Colony.

Lucky for me, he survived the ordeal
