Usually when I take a walk in the dark, I take a specific route due to sidewalks. This evening, I took a different route and remembered why I don't take that route after dark - no sidewalks, poorly lit and people speeding make for a not-so-fun walk! I did not get hit so, so bonus!

I took a new route in my walk today and ended up walking by a playground. Maybe it's my job, but there's no way a single middle aged man walking through a playground too of kids doesn't look like a creep!

This is far from a complaint, but with all of the days I have had off since Sept. and all the days I have left off, it's kind of hard to get into a work rhythm. Of course, I don't regret using my vacation days at all. I still have one more week off this month and eight more vacation days next month

I'm trying to remember the last time I've been in my house if I didn't have at least one cat within a foot of me for more than a half-hour. I think the last time was January if 2020, right before I adopted them!
