It's not typically lucid, that's why it's distressing for many. Parasomnias and sleep/wake border is tremendous group of variation from the pathological to the normal.

It's the lemborexant. It even showed up in trials for small %. It is consistent though and, dose mediated, and likely wouldnt fade as most AEs. Its due to orexin antagonism. Stops upon cessation. You'd be better served by a z-drug.

Interesting but basis on top of frequent GWAS marker hits is tenuous at best. Sure, guanfacine, and clonidine can bring helpful in some phenotypes but not through reduction of BP alone. Calcium blockers are a very different beast in the brain than alpha blockers.
