This is SA who all play in the URC against Welsh players who play in the URC.

Welsh regions don't look this poor against the SA teams.

Not sure how this compares other nations?

Wales have almost the opposite issue where players get changed quite often!

The WRU's plan for the semi pro level of the game in Wales.

They control that as well as the regions.

This is cartoonish levels of megalomania.

Oh look - it's a league determining its own commercial destiny.

No sign of FFR anywhere near this.

Contrast with Wales, where the WRU negotiates bad deals on our behalf whilst holding a knife to our throat.

If any of the owners agree to these proposals then they are not serious people. It’s not viable and makes zero financial sense.

When you consider this and the fact that the WRU were briefing journalists at the game last week, this clearly isn’t a credible or professional governing body.

Good on the Dragons for calling it out because quite frankly someone needs to. WRU are going to kill pro rugby in Wales.

The interviewer should have probed much harder on these points:

- Why is pro rugby in Newport such a non-negotiable, when it has been an abject failure for 20 years?

- What is the incentive for business people to invest in the commercial arms of pro teams, if they have no say in rugby operations?

Great investigation of the Nazis, racists and criminals mobilising the flag-on-lamp-posts movement. This is the kind of journalism that the national media could and should have conducted:
