@mitchnobis.bsky.social’s book cover appears in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (PS5)
Adrian holds up the green book “The Size of the Horizon, or, I Explained Everything to the Trees” by Mitchell Nobis, which closely matches the pattern on the jacket of the video game character on the screen behind the book

The manager of Windows on the World survived 9/11. Seventy-nine of his employees died. "To tell Glenn’s story … is to share an uncomfortable truth: 9/11 was not the worst day of his life," Tim Alberta wrote in 2021.

Charlie Kirk emboldened hate by cloaking his beliefs as "Christian".
Jesus embraced the marginalized.
He was the opposite of Kirk.
No Charlie should not have been murdered for his rhetoric.
But he did embrace hate. And I won't martyr him.

Reaction online is predictably polarized.

Reaction among the not-always-online people I tried to talk to was a unanimous, “who?”

I’m still working through that.
