It’ll mostly be music, LUFC and (left leaning) politics. Live and let live, be kind to others and all that decent stuff. Just move on up towards your destination Though you may find from time to time complications

Out for dinner in Paris this evening and a giant french black pudding was one of the starters. Would have been rude not to. Lovely. #Paris
Warning, this is dull. But as a bunch of youngsters who loved fishing we would watch this religiously as it was the only time you ever saw anything about angling on TV. There was also a ditty sung to the theme tune about our school din dins, coming from pig bins, out of town.

Yes, was going to say the same thing. Setting Sons was 1979 (not this day).
Before this season started if you knew anything about anything you understood it was likely we would lose about half our games this season. So far P10 L5. Yesterday we were made to look bad by a side miles better than us. Tough to take, but we’ve been here before many times over the years.
Last one. I just looked at line-up of that Arsenal team we beat and bloody hell! #lufc
And a film of me being knocked back from the Clock End would be a comedy epic. Went to join the queue at the turnstile & a copper asked me what was in the bag & when I spoke he accused me of not being a Leeds fan. Heated argument followed about not all Leeds fans coming from Leeds. I lost.
That’s a shame because when I say I saw him score, I actually didn’t. The pitch of the stand and my (then) height meant I only realised he’d scored when I heard the roar from the other end. I have a vague memory of seeing the goal on MOTD but that’s it. But still remember how great it felt

Terry Connor scored more goals for Brighton (51) than he did for Leeds (19). Here’s his goal at Old Trafford in 79 which tends to be overshadowed by Brian Flynn’s 2 years later. How good was Hird’s run here…and how bad was Alan Curtis’s finishing!

The only Terry Connor goal I saw was his last minute winner at Highbury in Jan 1980. Went up to watch the game and buy a new parka in Carnaby Street. Had it in a carrier bag with me in the North Bank, they wouldn’t let me in the Clock End. Does any film of this exist?
Yes, well done both, especially John! I’ll be communicating to my mates how easy people who really know their aircraft found this 🤣
I took this at an aircraft museum in Nova Scotia in August, this was the one that flummoxed 5 of us old aircraft spotters, two went into ATC, two aircraft design/manufacture, and we’ve never lost our love for these things.

Any time one of those fake foreign British nostalgia accounts starts banging on about the 50s, send them this wonderful interview with Don McCullin, and his description (familiar to me from the 70s) of how brutal London was in the 50s

Thinking about this pic every October
Yes, yes he was. And a beautiful soul.

It’s like when I’m eating with chopsticks, once I get going I’m fine. But make me stop, put them down, and then go again I’ll be spraying pork balls everywhere. And I’ve lived and worked in HK.
The morning after the night before 💛🤍💙 #lufc
Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Not good, and I was surprised about how loud the boos were. Very disappointing.
Yes, agree. There was a great Champions of Europe last night and a whole ground big We all love Leeds in the 2nd half which was magnificent. And some sometimes noisy (but sad) away fans always helps.
Just watched highlights on LUTV which reflects how it felt last night - they had a lot of the ball in 2nd half but didn’t really threaten that much. And we should have killed them off in the 1st half. And Leeds United trending here on a very US-centric site is something #lufc
That was a weird game. If we’d have scored a third in the first half they would’ve crumbled, they nearly did anyway #lufc
Hello gorgeous. But you need to be a loud, snarling bear pit for the unhappy ‘ammers tonight #LUFC
