When we write or draw porn or erotica, we get banned from having a bank account and our livelihoods get seized even if we give it away for free.

When billionaires steal what we've written or drawn to churn out a slop-approximate of porn, they're allowed to charge for it.

Oh good, ChatGPT is getting "erotica for verified adults" later this year

We made ChatGPT pretty restrictive to make sure we were being careful with mental health issues. We realize this made it less useful/enjoyable to many users who had no mental health problems, but given the seriousness of the issue we wanted to get this right.

Now that we have been able to mitigate the serious mental health issues and have new tools, we are going to be able to safely relax the restrictions in most cases.

In a few weeks, we plan to put out a new version of ChatGPT that allows people to have a personality that behaves more like what people liked about 4o (we hope it will be better!). If you want your ChatGPT to respond in a very human-like way, or use a ton of emoji, or act like a friend, ChatGPT should do it (but only if you want it, not because we are usage-maxxing).

In December, as we roll out age-gating more fully and as part of our “treat adult users like adults” principle, we will allow even more, like erotica for verified adults.

I noticed this too. Its like “Jaws” from James bond vs. Cyberpunk 2077/Deus Ex/Ghost in the shell. The technology is supposed to more common than it ever was, but expensive. So it was a thing that only certain people got ahold of, rather than removable jaw bones being as common as an iPhone.

hopefully Disney will take enough L’s from sequels, to come back to this one day. HT: Disney Pixar’s strength was in bringing animals, and objects to life. (With some exceptions) The movies focused on humans aren’t as good.

The Filth Fever bar is useful UI for a modern kind of life that doesn’t provide much real time to take care of yourself. Think about it, If that status bar rose everytime you ate a McDonald’s hamburger you could no longer claim ignorance in your decision. You’d drink more water, and eat more rice.

Just having a bar you can see attempting to Proc in real time would be an insanely useful bit of UI to have running at all times. It would more than make up for Apple removing the headphone jack from all their late 2016 model cell phones.

Woke up this morning, used a nasal rinse on myself to clean out all the bullshit left over by a rapid unscheduled sinus infection. I have the gag reflex of Kings, and it makes hacking up phlegm SOO MUCH WORSE when you just start puking if you cant eject it away from you efficiently. I hate this.

When I sit down at a restaurant, Id like to check the bar in my head to see if the “Filth“ meter is rising. Maybe I am too close to someone’s dark souls virus cloud radius. I can act accordingly, and move to a different table to avoid the status effect/programmed random occurrence of sickness.

Inspired by The Forgotten Realms, “Filth Fever” is a low level disease contracted by rats that live in city sewers. Whats happening to my sinuses right now, can only be construed as the result of a “Filth debuff”, and I would like to know if lack of vitamin C or sleep caused the bar to fill.

I would like a “filth fever” meter installed in my brain. The meter rises and falls when I complete an action that raises or suppresses the immune system in real time. Like a System Bios I can analyze to keep under a threshold of getting sick. How many days of poor sleep raises the filth threshold?
